Leon: I am sure you that soon you will have as many subscribers as you want!

Roberto: I agree with what you say, but I still feel that in some ways, identifying a niche can definitely be a great help to a blog and the blogger.

But, "just keeping at it" is the best thing a blogger can hope to do.

Charlotte: That does sound like great advice!

The best advice I have seen for finding a niche is in James Brausch's infoproduct creation product. Go where you hang out, read what you read, Who are those other folks you meet there? What to do they talk about? What do they need or want?

That's your niche. Now to work on getting traffic to that niche? As Roberto says, write on what you feel is best, and they will come.

I know the whole myth on the niche and I used to obsess over this, trying to figure out about my market and what appeals to people. Through this, I learned that what I should do is just write on any thing and see what I feel is best, less on what is marketable. I just wrote what I felt was the best post to write about, even if it didn't seem to fit the theme of my blog. Granted, I set out my blog as more of a writing experiment and it evolved to what it was. But just keep at it and you will find out what to write, but don't be fooled by the whole niche thing.

Funny. My blog has no niche but it does pretty well, though it doesn't have as much subscribers as it should.
