		<description>I&#039;d say that self consciousness is one of the biggest hindrances to a writer.  I can&#039;t attest to the quality of my own writing but I know that as long as I lose myself in a story and allow myself to experience it as it unfolds, I have little or no trouble articulating those ideas.  The second I become conscious of the work as something separate from the experience or whether it&#039;s &quot;good&quot; or &quot;bad&quot; writing - that&#039;s when I run into a brick wall.

Maybe the old adage about not being able to see the forest for the trees would apply in a situation like that...</description>
