How Money Magnet works?

You buy a money magnet through a referral (as you cannot buy one directly). Your money magnet could cost you $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, or $100. Once your payment is verified, you get a referral link of your own and a badge to put on your site (you can see mine in the sidebar, above the entrecard widget). Then others can buy their money magnets through your site, and you earn a 50% commission everytime someone gets his magnet through your magnet.

I decided to get one today and see if it works for me. You can grab one too, and see how it works for you!

There are two kinds of bloggers that cannot afford to ignore either Google PageRank or Alexa ranking: The blogger who plans to monetize his site, and the blogger who likes to brag about his blog. That, I feel, covers most bloggers.

These days a lot of people start a blog for the sole purpose of making money. They hear stories about bloggers making money and they want to do the same.

In some ways, it is google , with it’s Adsense program, that started this trend. When a couple of years ago I started my first blog on blogger, Adsense was the first line of code that I added to my blog. There were three reasons for that :

With AdSense integrated into blogger itself, it could not be easier to put it up on my blog.

There were a lot of success stories doing the rounds that talked about ordinary bloggers striking it rich with Adsense.

Adsense was, and still is, everywhere. You see it on every other blog, and you think there must be a reason for so many people to endorse it.

I think the above reasons hold true even today.

But, over a period of time, it has become clear that making money online is as much hard work as making money offline, especially if you want to have a sustainable income from your blog over a period of time.

Alexa ranking and PageRank are two important parameters that can help you in your endeavor to make more money online – be it from posting for sponsors or from direct advertising.

In the next post on the topic we will try and see how the two systems work.

Having a credit card is an absolute must in today’s world. With the Internet getting bigger and bigger every day, buying and selling things, and services, online has become more of a necessity than a facility. And if you are going to do that, you will end up needing a credit card.

So, If you are going to get a credit card, and you happen to be a citizen of the United Kingdom, and are above 18 years of age, you might as well get a MINT credit card. MINT credit card offers several features that can appeal to people with different needs. Some of these features are 0% on balance transfers until 1 January 2009 (2.5% balance transfer fee), 0% on purchases until 1 June 2008, 0% bonus offer until 1 September 2009 on balances transferred during March 2009 (2.5% fee), up to £7,500 credit limit, no annual fee, free additional card for a friend or partner, worldwide acceptance at over 24 million locations wherever you see the MasterCard sign.

Even if you already have a credit card, or have more than one, the MINT card sounds like a good option for credit card consolidation .

In addition to the above features, there is a feature that , as per the MINT website, is a real “first”. This feature is about personalising your credit card. Once you have got your credit card, you can submit your favourite image to MINT, and they will use that to create a personalised credit card for you. Doesn’t sound bad at all.
